Groups & Workshops

I offer community events, circles, workshops, and therapy groups in Durango and online.

See the events page for current offerings.

Therapy Groups

Therapy groups are designed for those seeking ongoing support, resourcing skills, growth, and relational insight. These groups are small, confidential, and facilitated with clear boundaries to create a safe, intentional container for exploration.

Themes often include:

  • Authenticity and self-expression

  • Attachment and relationship patterns

  • Nervous system regulation and resilience

  • Women’s skills groups and support groups

  • Online therapy groups for connection across Colorado

In group therapy, the focus is not only on what is shared verbally but also on what is experienced — the sensations, emotions, and interactions that arise within the group. These become opportunities to practice presence, communication, and emotional attunement in the moment.

Groups might draw on different principles including, Gestalt therapy, nature connection, somatic practices, mindfulness, equine skills, dreamwork, and Jungian psychology.

Workshops and Community Circles

In addition to therapy groups, I offer a range of non-therapy workshops, circles, and community gatherings for adults who want to reconnect with nature, community, and self through experiential practice in a group setting.

Workshops and circles are open to all adults — no prior experience is necessary. These gatherings are often inspired by seasonal rhythms, the natural world, and the belief that community connection is essential to personal and collective well-being.

Some of the offerings include:

  • Nature-Based Workshops: Grounding and mindfulness practices, nature connection activities, and reflection in outdoor settings.

  • Eco-Grief and The Work That Reconnects (Joanna Macy): Facilitated processes for honoring grief, cultivating gratitude, and rediscovering active hope.

  • Women’s Circles: Weekly to monthly gatherings focused on authenticity, presence, and renewal through shared ritual, reflection, and storytelling.

  • Seasonal and Community Events: Opportunities to honor the cycles of nature, reconnect with the land, and find stillness and slowing down together.

Workshops range from one to six hours, while circles and community groups may meet weekly, monthly, or seasonally. Some events are led solely by me, while others are co-facilitated with trusted colleagues who share a background in nature-based or relational work.

Why Group Experiences Can Be So Transformative

There’s something uniquely healing about being witnessed by others who are walking their own paths of growth. In a group, you begin to notice patterns that show up in relationships — moments of openness, hesitation, or self-protection — and practice new ways of being in real time.

In both therapeutic and non-therapeutic settings, group work invites:

  • Greater self-awareness through connection and reflection.

  • Opportunities to practice authenticity and communication in a safe, supportive environment.

  • Nervous system regulation through resourcing and mindfulness practices.

  • A renewed sense of community and belonging.

Grounded in Gestalt and attachment-based therapy, depth psychology, and nature-connected practices, my groups and workshops weave experiential learning with mindfulness, somatic awareness, play, curiosity, and shared experience. Each experience is designed to help participants slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with what feels most true.

My Approach

All of my group and workshop offerings are grounded in the same guiding principles that inform my individual work:

  • Experiential and Relational: Growth happens through lived experience, not just discussion.

  • Nature-Centered: Nature provides grounding, awareness, and perspective, reminding us of our interconnectedness.

  • Attachment-Informed and Somatic: Awareness of the body and nervous system supports regulation and authentic connection.

  • Depth-Oriented: I invite curiosity about the deeper layers of meaning and the call of the soul in times of change.
